Mixed reactions on social media over EPF withdrawal issue

People turn to social media to express their views.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians seem to be on the same page on the issue of permissible age for members to withdraw their savings from Employees Provident Fund (EPF).

Many turn to social media to express their views, and most of them agreed that 60 years old is too late for withdrawal.

Early today, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak confirmed that the EPF withdrawal age limit stays at 55 years old.

Biz News Malaysia, on his Twitter page, had thrown in a question for the PM himself. Not sure if they got the answer they were looking for.

Social Ninja, also on Twitter, expressed his relief with the latest development.

Seems like Migha Gaga has her fingers crossed.

Cik Leeya on the other hand, is being a bit cynical.

Julia Azrina, on Facebook, decided to look back at a phrase that was once so popular.

CK thinks it is only fair for GST to be cancelled, too.

Abdul Rahman however, looks at the issue in the bigger picture.
