Cinta lokasi Fattah-Sherry?

Murugan Pillai, a fourth year medical student at the Russian National Research Medical University from Kedah was on his way home for his semester break.

KUALA LUMPUR: A fourth year Malaysian medical student in Moscow was detained at the Sheremetyevo International Airport for five days after the airport's authorities claimed that his visa had an 'error' on it.

    M. Murugan Pillai, 23, a student of Russian National Research Medical University claimed he was stopped by the airport’s authorities upon returning to Russia after to pursue his studies.

Despite various attempts to seek help from the Malaysian embassy in Moscow since his detention, Murugan claimed no aid arrived since the day he was detained on Sept 2.

During his detention, he claimed to have been deprived of food as he was only given one meal per day.

“I don’t know why they stopped me. They said my visa had an error on it but it (visa) is valid until Dec 2014 and I have a clean record at my university," said Murugan when contacted by Astro AWANI.

The 1Malaysia Indian Student Movement (1MISM) president, D. Mahaganapathy Dass who highlighted the case said the embassy in Moscow and the Higher Education Ministry should respond to the allegation that they did not help the student.

“The student was detained at the airport for five days and no immediate action was taken for the boy’s return,” he told Astro AWANI in a phone interview.

Murugan’s mother, who is a single mother, had then sought assistance from Mahaganapathy to secure her son’s release.

It is understood that Murugan was deported to Malaysia on Sunday and landed at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport early Monday at 7am.

Murugan is currently staying at a relative’s house in Kuala Lumpur and said would proceed with the appealing process soon.

Germany says no data confirms MH17 was shot down

Authorities failed to reveal the data they received from US spy satellites and conversations intercepted during the crash, citing secrecy.

KUALA LUMPUR: German media have reported that there is no information to confirm that the Malaysian Airlines (MAS) MH17 flight was downed by a missile as the last minutes of the flight was not recorded by radar.

RIA Novosti reported that the media companies WDR and NDR obtained information that the German government said that AWACS aircraft patrolling Polish and Romanian airspace found the plane but links were lost when it entered uncontrolled area.

The two AWACS aircraft managed to record the signals of one of the anti-aircraft systems and another unknown system that was assigned to the SA-3 complex known as Pechora, which is a routine signal recorded in the region.

However, authorities failed to reveal the data they received from US spy satellites and conversations intercepted during the crash, citing secrecy, the portal reported.

This goes against what Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s earlier claim that MH17 was shot down by a surface-to-air missle.

The portal also cited a report on August 7 by New Straits Times which cited American intelligence analysts that the plan was shot down with the knowledge of the Ukrainian government.

MH17 crashed in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region on July 17 en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, with 298 people on board.

Investigations are still on going but have been constantly interrupted by fighting between Kiev forces and local militia in the area.

Welbeck scored 2 as England beat Switzerland 2 - 0

Welbeck fires England to winning start against Switzerland - Euro 2016 qualifier, Basel: Switzerland 0, England 2 (Welbeck 58, 90+4)

Danny Welbeck's brace got England's Euro 2016 campaign off to a superb start as they beat Switzerland 2-0 at St Jakob Stadium in Basel.

Welbeck scored both goals in perhaps the toughest game in this qualifying group, as Roy Hodgson’s side impressively swept past a side 11 places above them in the FIFA rankings.

England were the better side for much of the game, Hodgson’s diamond midfield producing the sort of dynamism and attacking potency that it was designed to deliver.

Yet as the first half came to a close it looked as if they would not make their dominance pay, with several good chances wasted - not least Welbeck failing to find Wayne Rooney or Raheem Sterling with a free pass when both were unmarked in the box.

But England finally opened the scoring just before the hour mark, and Welbeck made up for that error as he capped a fine counter-attack down the left with some good combinations between Rooney and Sterling. The duo carved out a chance for Welbeck to slot home with aplomb, although there was a suspicion that it came off his shin.

Switzerland went close on a few occasions after England took the lead, most notably when Gary Cahill produced a fine sliding block after Josip Drmic had rounded Joe Hart and guided the ball towards the gaping goal.

That was as close as the Swiss came before Welbeck rounded things off in injury time, sweeping home after Sterling and substitute Rickie Lambert had combined well on the counter-attack. - Eurosport

    The Infiniti Q50 - from RM248,800 onwards

German sedans are no longer the final word for performance and beauty, introducing the Infiniti Q50

There are currently six automakers that are associated with F1 Racing, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Lotus, Renault and of course Infiniti who are partnered with defending champions Red Bull Racing. So as far brand presence goes, Infiniti has it in spades. And fewer still can claim the defending F1 champion helped hone their car to perfection.

Infiniti is a company which has its roots firmly tied to mainstream Japanese manufacturer Nissan. However, unlike its mainstream counterparts, the beauty and elegance of the Q50 showcases what can be achieved if creative minds are allowed to collaborate and precise hands are allowed to put thoughts to paper or in a virtual design space.

The imposing front architecture is marked by Q50’s three-dimensional double-arch grille which flow onto enticing front headlamps. The flanks feature pinched and contoured surfaces which flow the front towards sculptured rear haunches. Likewise, the raked A-pillar has a fluidic form flowing towards the rear bootlid. And where BMW has the Hoffmeister-kink, Infiniti has its chic Crescent-cut C-pillar.

Two variants have been introduced, the entry Q50 which is powered by a 2.0-litre direct-injected and turbocharged four-cylinder capable of producing 211bhp at 5,500rpm while torque figures are rated at 350Nm between 1,250rpm and 3,500rpm. The performance stats read a respectable 0-100kph time of 7.2s onto a top speed of 245kph. Power is sent through a seven-speed automatic with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) and Downshift Rev Matching (DRM).

Equipment list for the entry level is generous for starters with integrated DRLs, front and rear fog lamps, Dual zone climate control and the InTouch dual-display on the centre console for relaying vehicle information. Another interesting feature is the Intelligent Key (I-Key) which stores up to four keys with driver preference settings that range from driving position, climate control, audio settings and even the car’s performance settings.

Specify the optional premium package for RM30,000 and Infiniti adds its Direct Adaptive Steering (DAS), the world’s first steer-by-wire system which fully utilises digital signals between the steering wheel input and front axle. The system includes the company’s Active Lane Control which reads the road ahead and keeps the car tracking straight and when you factor in the Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), you literally have a car that can drive all by itself on the highway.

Elsewhere, the premium package also enables buyers to choose between a Maple Wood and Kacchu aluminium interior trim. The audio system is upgraded from a six-speaker to a 14-speaker BOSE premium audio setup. And finally, the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) and 18-inch alloys set the car apart on the exterior.

The top trump variant, the Q50S Hybrid is powered by a 3.5-litre Atkinson-cycle V6 which produces 298bhp at 6,800rpm and 338Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The engine is aided by electric motor which pumps an extra 67bhp and 270Nm. Combined, the power source delivers 364bhp and a Ferrari 458 beating, 546Nm. This endows the Q50S with a century sprint time of 5.1s onto a 250kph top speed.

The gearbox is a seven-speeder equipped with Adaptive shift control and Downshift Rev Matching. The unit does not utilise a torque converter, however one clutch couples to the engine while another which is also housed inside the gearbox modulates the electric motor’s input. The system has five drive modes and sends power to the rear-wheels.

The Q50 Hybrid tops the options list with 19-inch alloys, sport tuned suspension and additions to the front bumpers. On the inside, drivers have control over magnesium shift paddles, a 12-way powered sport seat and a powered moon-roof in addition to the plethora of active and passive driver aids.

The Infiniti Q50t retails for RM248,800 while the Premium GT spec bumps the price up to RM278,800. The range topping Q50S 3.5 Hybrid will set you back a cool RM398,800. All Infiniti’s Q50s are fully imported from Japan and come with a three year/100,000km warranty.
