New P1 Promo Makes High Quota Broadband Plans Affordable

Petaling Jaya – Southeast Asia’s pioneer and Malaysia’s first 4G service provider, Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“P1”) delivers high quota broadband plans at affordable prices through its latest EXTRA QUOTA promotion.

This promotional offer is perfect for consumers who watch or stream TV content or movies via the Internet, which according to *statistics, will serve the need of 42% of Malaysia’s 17 million Internet users.

“The Internet is rich and colourful with sounds and scenes but you need to have enough quotas to enjoy everything it has to offer. However, quotas can be expensive. Our promo gives you the quota without the high price, I just hope everyone grabs this opportunity to enjoy the Internet freely,” said Shirley Ah Yong, Director of Brand & Marketing.

With this promotion, P1’s award-winning home broadband plan, ‘ForHomeTM’ will for a limited time, come with 50% more quota for its 12-and 24-month plans. Those who opt for 24-month plans will be rewarded further with up to 5GB more of monthly quota and on top of that, get free phone service and up to 300 minutes of monthly free calls to any fixed, mobile plus selected IDD numbers.

The same offer applies to P1’s ‘OnePlanTM’, a 2-in-1 value plan for those needing both home and on-the-go broadband. Consumers just need to add RM30 to their monthly bill for an on-the-go broadband that comes with free MiFi.

The MiFi is different from a conventional USB stick or dongle as the pocket-size MiFi device enables personal 4G WiFi and can provide connectivity for up to eight (8) WiFi-enabled devices on the go saving the user on Internet bills.

As for P1’s on-the-go broadband, the ToGoTM plan offers up to 5GB more quota monthly, and comes with free MiFi for its mid and high plans. P1’s quotas are ‘all-time’ quotas, meaning they can be utilised day and night without time cap limitations.

Shirley shared that P1 subscribers’ top three online activities are video streaming, social media networking and content downloading and average usage per user stands at a high of 17GB. Aside from the content itself, broadband sharing at home or on-the-go where two or more users or devices are connected simultaneously also places demand on usage quota.
