'I am innocent. I will not accept any decision except freedom' - Anwar Ibrahim

PETALING JAYA: Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at Padang Timur, here tonight to attend a dinner gathering organised by Pakatan Rakyat.

Over 2000 people were at the dinner and it is expected that more will attend as a show of solidarity to the 67-year-old politician.

The speech given after the dinner is his final leg of the ‘Kempen Rakyat Hakim Negara’ before a decision is made of his sodomy case tomorrow at the Federal Court.

Earlier, PKR vice-president Tian Chua in his speech said that the decision tomorrow could cause a change to the country’s political landscape in the future.

“10 February is the most important date in Malaysia’s modern history. Tomorrow, Anwar will once again face the court’s decision which could affect his welfare.

“We will determine the country’s direction. We want to see that the people's right and democracy upheld,” said Tian Chua.
