Swansea complete 2 - 1 win over Arsenal

Premier League, Liberty Stadium - Swansea 2 (Sigurdsson 75', Gomis 78') Arsenal 1 (Sanchez 63')

Arsenal conceded two goals in three manic minutes as Swansea came from behind to complete a rousing 2-1 win at the Liberty Stadium.

Garry Monk's side moved above Arsenal into fifth place in the Premier League table courtesy of a delightful free-kick from Gylfi Sigurdsson on 75 minutes and an expert header from Bafetimbi Gomis on 78 minutes only seconds after he had replaced Wilfried Bony.

Arsenal moved ahead courtesy of the almost obligatory goal from Alexis Sanchez on 63 minutes when he swept home a Danny Welbeck cross on the counter attack, but they again flattered to deceive.

Having blown a 3-0 lead in drawing 3-3 with Anderlecht in the Champions League in midweek, questions will again rightly be asked about the defensive shortcomings that continue to blight Arsene Wenger's side.

Swansea won't care much. They have made their best start to a Premier League season having amassed 18 points from 11 games with Arsenal one point worse off in sixth spot.
