Audi A3 sweeps in the Drop-top of the Year award

The Scots loves the Audi A3 Cabriolet so much that they gave it an award.

The annual Scottish Car of the Year Awards happened a few nights ago where the A3 Cabriolet variant swept up the Drop-top of the Year award. They are calling it the cabrio for all seasons thanks to the droptop’s Quattro all-wheel-drive and refinement and rigidity that run a saloon close.

It was a unanimous decision according to Ben Fish, Product Marketing Manager for Audi UK. The country is reputed to have the most testing weather conditions, that an Audi should be the cabriolet of choice north of the border speaks volumes.

The Audi A3’s drop top’s main purpose was to let the sunshine in while the roof keeps even the Scottish weather at bay. Along with winning traits like the rock solid quality, a superb range of efficient engines and not to forget the fabulous looks that won the judges over.

Customers of UK also get an extensive A3 range of three or five-door hatchback, four-door saloon or cabriolet, all of which can also be enjoyed in S3 form. It’s not really much of a wonder why the A3 is the Scots’ favourite drop-top of the Year.
