The town hall event will be attended by 100 participants of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) will be held at the University Malaya at 4pm today.

The stage is set for President Obama
YSEALI was launched by Obama in 2013 and it is participated by young potential leaders from 10 ASEAN nations who carry the hopes of bringing positive change to their countries and the region.

It is a platform for the youth to contribute ideas and implement change in various fields such as economy, development, education and environment.

This American initiative is organised with the belief that the younger generation is the generation of change for Southeast Asia.

Approximately 65 per cent of the population in this region is under the age of 35.
