Selina Kyle aka Catwoman kisses another woman in the newest issue of "Catwoman," with the writer revealing that she intended to establish the character as a "canon bisexual."
In a blog post, writer Genevieve Valentine wrote, "She's flirted around it -- often quite literally -- for years now; for me, this wasn't a revelation so much as a confirmation."
Valentine added, "please be assured that Selina's longstanding connection to Batman has not been forgotten; that is not how bisexuality (or humanity) works."
This kiss takes place in issue 39 of the DC Comics series, out this week.
