A 15-year-old girl threw her newborn from her third-storey apartment in Kuala Lumpur, killing the baby.
The teenager gave birth to the baby at home on Thursday in secret, Sin Chew Daily reported. Afraid her family would find out about the child, the Malaysian girl disposed of the baby girl.
A local voluntary patrol team found the body of the dead baby at about 11pm and called the police.
The authorities found the young mother after checking each unit floor by floor.
The girl is a school dropout. It is believed she had a relationship with an Indonesian man living nearby.
Police are investigating the murder case.
