KUALA LUMPUR: Seventeen highways will be offering discounts and rebates of between five and 37.5 per cent in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration from Aug 7 to 9.
Works Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof said five highways will be offering 20 per cent toll rebate to consumers in class 1 vehicles and toll paid electronically on Aug 5 to 6 and from Aug 14-15.
"The amount and period for discounts and rebate vary according to the respective concessionaire," he said at the launch of a road safety campaign at Persada PLUS, here, Thursday.
He said the highways involved are Lebuhraya Guthrie, LKSA, AKLEH, SMART, KESAS, KL-KARAK, LPT 1, DUKE, NPE, NNKSB, MEX, BESRAYA, LEKAS, SDE, SKVE, LDP and SPRINT.
The five highways offering rebates are PLUS, SPDH, ELITE, BKE and LINKEDUA, he said. --BERNAMA
