World’s sexiest places to skinny dip

Playa Levante, Formentera, Spain
Formentera, the smallest of Spain’s Balearic Islands, offers miles of pristine beaches, making it an ideal spot for skinny dipping action. In this part of the world, nudity is actually quite a social norm, so don’t be afraid or embarrassed to strip off.  Playa Levante, a sleepy beach with sheltered dunes and secluded bays, is perfect for sunbathers looking for a bit of privacy. The beach is located north of the island, and has been touted as the world’s most famous naturist beach. Don’t think twice about letting your inner exhibitionist run free here.
Maslin Beach, Adelaide, Australia
In 1975, Maslin Beach was declared Australia’s first legal nudist beach. Strangely enough, this idyllic beach is also home to an annual nude Olympics, which includes rather bizarre prize categories such as “Best Bum” and a three legged race. However, if you are not comfortable with stripping off, you will be glad to hear nude bathing is only legal on the southern half of Maslin.
Ponderosa (The Eden), Riviera Maya, Mexico
If gallivanting nude on sandy beaches doesn’t quite tickle your fancy, why not dive into the mystical cenotes (also known as sinkholes) in the Riviera Maya? The Ponderosa cenote, in particular, is a local favourite, and is located near Playa del Carmen. The sinkhole is home to a large ecosystem of eels, fish and turtles. Although it is sacred (the Mayans believed that it was the gateway to the afterlife), dipping into these natural swimming pools is a once in a lifetime opportunity.  And if you’re going to skinny dip, you might as well make it a memorable one.
Okuhida, Japan
Okuhida is known for its ‘onsen’ (hot springs) and ‘rotemburo’ (outdoor baths), which kind of makes it an ideal playground for the seasoned nudist. There are five prominent ‘onsen’ towns along Okuhida’s valleys, which are surrounded by stunning views of the Northern Japan Alps. Each town is connected to a different hot spring source, making each spot unique in its own way. Out of all the spots, Hiraya Onsen is perhaps the most worthy of a visit, as it is Okuhida’s oldest ‘onsen’ town which was discovered by Takeda Shingen’s troops in the 1560s.
