Pop icon and superstar Katy Perry is set to star in H&M’s Holiday 2015 campaign. This global TV and print campaign celebrates the joyous season in true H&M form.
Riding the wave from her recent collaboration with Jeremy Scott for Moschino, Katy Perry bagged yet another major fashion gig but she is trading glossy, gold crop tops and chain jewellery for pieces with more mass appeal. She is the newest face of H&M’s 2015 holiday collection in the Swedish retailer’s rich history of calling on big-name superstars for its ads, from Lana Del Rey to Beyonce and even Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett last year.
Perry has one of the largest social media followings ever, with 23.8 million fans on Instagram. This undertaking is just the latest in a string of successes for the star, who was the first artist to exceed 75 million digital downloads and has become the top Twitter star with 72 million followers.
