KUALA LUMPUR: With well over 1.3 million Twitter followers, Lisa Surihani is hailed as the current local queen of tweets.
When The Star Online hosted an #AskLisa On The Spot live tweet session, tweeters submitted hundreds of questions for the bubbly 27-year-old.
“It was a lot of fun! A lot of different questions were raised - mind-boggling ones, cute ones, silly ones,” said the articulate actress of her interactive interview experience.
Her immense cyber popularity also caused the #AskLisa hashtag to enter the Malaysia Trends list, with queries streaming in long after the session had ended.
When asked who she wants to see in a live tweet session, Lisa's first choice was her all-time favourite actress, Anne Hathaway.

As for local personalities, Lisa hopes to see her husband Yusry Abdul Halim going On The Spot out of sheer curiosity.
“He's shy and not that inclined to social media, but I'm curious about the kind of (good-natured) questions he will get.
“Especially when it comes to his line of work and the things he does with visual effects,” said Lisa.
Other top picks include TV personality Daphne Iking and Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.
Lisa's use of the Twitter was humble in the beginning. She just wanted to stay connected and certainly did not anticipate the avalanche of virtual followers.
“Everybody was on social media, so I started off with Facebook, then Twitter, then Instagram,” she said.
Being in a position where her voice is so amplified, Lisa takes care with the kind of stories she shares.
