Manchester United make 'huge bid' for Harry Kane?

'United make huge bid for Kane'

Harry Kane was not in the Spurs side for the club's friendly against AC Milan on Wednesday and The Express believe it is because Manchester United put in a "huge bid" for the striker. The game's commentators said that the bid was why he was out and other reporters also hinted at the same.

The transfer drama could keep Kane out of Tottenham's opening match of the season on Saturday, conveniently against United.

Paper Round's view -

Much of the speculation that United submitted a bid was because he didn't play in Spurs' friendly, but Kane played 90 minutes in a friendly on Tuesday and is expected to start on Saturday in the season opener. It's far more likely that Kane missed Wednesday's contest because he needed to rest ahead of the season.

Even if he was going to United, it sure wouldn't happen before Saturday and Daniel Levy is excellent at holding a grudge so stirring up trouble with a bid before the two teams play would only hurt Man United's chances or signing him.
