KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia Social Media Week (MSMW) is back starting today. First held in 2012, this annual event aims to connect people, content and conversations in the social and mobile media world.
This year, it will be held from February 24 until 27 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre.
“MSMW will congregate the corporate world, governments and youths, seeking to address issues, while showcasing some of the wealthy prospects that lie in the realm of social media.
“Insights and visions are shared, queries are tabled by like-minded individuals congregated to learn and deliver. It’s so sensational! People from all across the globe gathered with visions and missions for a better world,” said founder and president of Malaysia Social Media Chambers Shahul Hameed Shaik Dawood.
The World Bloggers and Social Media Summit starts tomorrow, and will feature key personalities and bloggers from around the world including Shane Dallas from Australia, Malini Agrawal from India, Kounila Keo from Cambodia, and local bloggers like Sue Lynn Tiong and Stephen Doss.
The summit will cover topics such as blogging, marketing, social media monetization and the future of mobile apps.
