The photo of Pei Xia with Chin Tau on her Facebook account 'Eupraxia Ho'.
JOHOR BARU: More than 12 hours have passed but Ho Pei Xia, 25, the younger sister of the bank officer who was killed in an amok incident in Taman Molek here yesterday is still traumatised and refused to accept the fact that her brother is gone forever.
In her Facebook account entitled 'Eupraxia Ho', the graduate of Subang Jaya Inti College regarded her brother, Ho Chin Tau as the 'best' human being and was the pride of the family.
"I still cannot accept the fact that I have lost a brother whom I was proud of all these while.
"Why must it be you?" posted the girl from Tawau, Sabah.
Maybe because she could not contain her sadness, Pei Xia shared a photograph in her Facebook showing her hugging her brother who was holding a birthday cake.
A friend of Pei Xia, known as Ming Lee Chong, said the photograph, which was uploaded, almost made her cry.
"Am heartbroken seeing this picture," she said.
Meanwhile, via a random search, Bernama found several Facebook accounts belonging to friends of the deceased who also wished to express their condolences to Pei Xia's family.
One Allen Liew said, it was tough for him and his pals to accept the fact that Chin Tau was gone because they had played volleyball together just a couple of months ago.
"After 15 years, Im glad that we played volleyball two months ago together, bringing back all the sweet memories that we had in high school.
"You will always be in my mind. Will see you again in a better place that's for sure. May you rest in peace, my dearest mate," he posted.
Earlier, Chin Tau's brother-in-law, Tan Ka Ching, 36, said Chin Tau did not realise the suspect who stabbed him sneaking into the office.
"I was told by his colleagues, Chin Tau sat with his back to the door of the office. The suspect stabbed my brother-in-law with a knife," he told Bernama at the mortuary of Sultan Ismail Hospital, here, Saturday.
Tan said the deceased was well-liked because he was pleasant and mild mannered. He had worked at the bank for three years.
"His duty was to take care of the customers' premium savings and there were only three officers in the section. However, during the incident, an officer had gone out leaving Chin Tau with another at the office," he said.
The body of Chin Tau, who is married to Ka Ching's younger sister, Tan Li Yan, would be cremated at the Nirvana Memorial Park in Kulai.
