MH370: Chronology of events up to Day 4

Search and rescue efforts have intensified for the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) plane which went missing while on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on Saturday.

Flight MH370 was reported to have lost all communications with air traffic control about an hour after taking off at 12.41am from Kuala Lumpur. It was supposed to arrive at 6.30am local time.

The plane was carrying 239 passengers including 12 crew members and two infants.

Apart from Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia and America have joined in the search operations for the missing aircraft.
