KUALA LUMPUR: UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the individual who was found to have recorded and distributed the speech of Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in a closed-door meeting, will have to face the music.

In the recording, Muhyiddin in a closed-door meeting with UMNO leaders at Institut Latihan Memperkasakan UMNO (ILMU) at Janda Baik, Pahang had urged the police to probe the national strategic investment company, 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
The video also featured Muhyiddin calling Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to sack all of 1MDB’s board of directors.
The video had gone viral on social media after it was published by blogger, Firdaus Abdullah on his blog, www.apanama.com, recently.
Earlier, UMNO Labour Secretary, Datuk Ab Rauf Yusuf said the individual has failed to adhere to the ruling prohibiting any recording to be done during any closed-door meetings.
