Pandelela tells football fans to 'not be so loud' in Bukit Jalil

National diver, Pandelela Rinong via her Twitter account today pleaded to football fans watching the second-leg final of the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup tonight to keep the volume at a minimum as there were other athletes nearby the area who 'needed to rest'.

Pandelela tweeted: "I know you excited now but please don't make so much noise because we athletes in National Sports Council hostel need to have our rest too."

The tweet was posted at about 4.40pm today and has since received some 'retweets' and 'favourites' from her Twitter followers.

The tweet from the national diving star has also received some responses from her fans saying that she should allow local football fans to be passionate about the game and to show their utmost support for the team.

The national football squad, Harimau Malaya will go against arch rivals Thailand in an epic match to try and reclaim the AFF Suzuki Cup title. In the first leg of the final in Bangkok last Thursday, the Malayan Tigers' lost 0-2 to the White Elephants.
