Stoke striker Bojan Krkic is a major doubt for the Potters' Barclays Premier League match at home to Manchester United on New Year's Day. Krkic came off with a hamstring injury in the second half of Stoke's 1-0 victory at Everton on Boxing Day and the 24-year-old underwent a scan on Tuesday.
Midfielder Angel Di Maria could feature for Manchester United against Stoke. Adnan Januzaj and Ander Herrera have also trained this week and may return to the starting XI. Marcos Rojo (thigh), Daley Blind (knee) and Marouane Fellaini (illness) are likely to miss out, however.
