Marion Cotillard Relives “La Vie en Rose” Vocals in Dior Music Video

Marion Cotillard has been everywhere this year from "The Immigrant" to "Two Days, One Night," but what she is possibly best known for is her portrayal of Edith Piaf in the 2007 film, "La Vie en Rose." Audiences were introduced to her as an actress and a singer, yet Cotillard hasn't been doing much singing since her Oscar-winning role!

Her new role as brand ambassador to Dior has altered that. The actress teamed up with Metronomy's Joseph Mount, an electronic musician, and director Eliott Bliss for an eclectic and evocative music video advertisement for both Dior and the band entitled, "Snapshot in LA." She also co-wrote and directed the conceptual music video.

Cotillard’s fearlessness as an actress is emphasized as she dances, swims, and jumps across a pool of water all the while maintaining her allure and attraction. The short feature shows the actress walking slowly around a picturesque, resort-style backyard before tearing off her Dior heels and leaping the length of a pool in two fluid skips.

She models a structured silver Dior handbag throughout the video, as well as a figure-hugging black bodysuit. It is also one of the most stylish and drool-worthy promos we've seen in some time. It also features some extraordinary interpretive dance from Ms. Cotillard.

But less surprising than that, the chic video does double duty as an ad for Dior’s campaign!

It's fundamentally the sartorial version of Inception!
