There have been new burger phenomenons,homegrown burgers that have taken new gastronomic tolls on many in Malaysia.
Street burger stalls like the infamous Ramly Burger stands , burger otai , fast food burger joints such as McDonalds (McD) and KFCs have all become part and parcel of most if not all Malaysians for as long as they have been in existence.
However, in the past few years, there have been new burger phenomenons that have taken new gastronomic tolls on many in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya as they never cease to tickle the taste buds of those who have devoured them.
Also, leaving those who have yet to sink their teeth into the modern day, homegrown burgers, envious and eager to get their taste of them.
"There were not many burger joints at Malaysia at that time of thinking to start up.
"We thought we can bring in some kind of unique concept especially in gourmet burgers , yes Malaysia do have a lot of street burgers, burger bakar, McD and fast food,we wanted to do more of a gourmet burger concept,
"We started to research, look at the upcoming trends, and what kind of taste that would appeal Malaysians,we also visited different countries,like Hong Kong,Singapore,Taiwan and Thailand to find out what would suit the Malaysian taste buds the best," said the chief designer and founder of Burger Factory, William.
