UNITED STATES: "Friends" and "We're the Millers" star Jennifer Aniston is on track for "Mean Moms," a film that pokes beneath the surface of well-heeled suburbia in the style of "Desparate Housewives," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The feature is based on Rosalind Wiseman's life advice tale "Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads," after the author's "Queen Bees and Wannabees" became the Lindsay Lohan blockbuster "Mean Girls."

Directing will be the Emmy Award nominee Beth McCarthy-Miller, who has previously directed on "30 Rock," "Modern Family" and "Saturday Night Live" as well as two Super Bowl half-time shows.

Before "Mean Moms," Aniston will be reunited with Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis in "Horrible Bosses 2."
