With Merdeka celebrations in tow, we figured now is the best time to ask this question: How Malaysian are you?

Twitter decided to go crazy with the current “Your Malaysian is showing” hash tag so we decided to join in the fun and list down a few signs that prove you’re definitely Malaysian.

You are Malaysian: When you slow down to watch an accident by the side of the road.

You are Malaysian:  When you use the phrase “On the way” even though you have yet to leave the house.

You are Malaysian:  You use Rojak language (English and Bahasa Malaysia at the same time). Not to forget adding the term “Lah” at the end of every sentence. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, it just proves you’re Malaysian!

You are Malaysian: You need to add Sambal or Chili sauce to everything and anything you eat. Well what Malaysian doesn’t like an extra kick to their dishes?

You are Malaysian: For hitting the Mamak stall for a late night snack and to catch up on a football match. Like, where else would be a better place to watch the game?
