Gagal temui mangsa, operasi akhirnya dihentikan

CAMERON HIGHLANDS - Operasi mencari dan menyelamat seorang mangsa warga Indonesia yang hilang dalam kejadian banjir lumpur di Lembah Bertam, di sini Rabu lepas, dihentikan secara rasmi hari ini.

Ketua Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Cameron Highlands Yusry Abdullah Sani berkata, operasi yang bermula pada 8 pagi itu dihentikan kira-kira 2 petang ini.

"Pihak berkuasa telah menutup operasi mencari dan menyelamat sepenuhnya dan mangsa yang hilang masih tidak ditemui," katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama.

Bagaimanapun, katanya pemantauan dan rondaan di kawasan bencana akan dilakukan pada esok oleh anggota keselamatan dalam skala kecil.

Yusry berkata sehingga kini usaha mencari dan menyelamat mangsa yang memasuki hari kelima menemui jalan buntu walaupun unit pengesan anjing K-9 dan unit penyelam bomba telah digunakan.

Dalam kejadian 1 pagi Rabu lepas, banjir lumpur melanda Lembah Bertam, Ringlet di sini apabila air sungai melimpah susulan pelepasan air Empangan Sultan Abu Bakar.

Insiden itu mengorbankan tiga nyawa selain seorang mangsa hilang. Ia turut memusnahkan 80 kediaman dan kira-kira 100 kenderaan.

Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak ketika membentangkan Bajet 2014 pada Jumaat, mengumumkan peruntukan RM40 juta untuk melebar dan mendalamkan Sungai Bertam.

Even though I am a heterosexual girl, I get butterflies in my stomach just by staring into Sandra’s gorgeous eyes.

Russian girls are the finest. They look like porcelain dolls. Trust me, I went to school with a lot of Russian girls. All the guys would race each other to get a Russian girl as a study buddy. The only problem with these Russian girls were their heavy accents.
